Managed Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS baseline with a minimal runtime, Zentryc console branding, unique appliance identity and credentials, HTTPS management, a restricted privilege broker, and a fresh 30-day trial.
Database restoration and application rollback are separate. A same-appliance backup may restore unchanged protected configuration; changed root-owned configuration requires administrator recovery. Keep an independent hypervisor backup. A new OVA import starts a separate identity and is not an automatic migration of an existing deployment.
Platform edition r1 adds QCOW2 for KVM and VHDX for Hyper-V, verified-disk import helpers, platform-specific UTC initialization, Hyper-V boot drivers and eth* network matching. The existing VMware OVA bytes and application release are unchanged. The guide now targets ESXi 8.0 or later; native ESXi qualification is pending. KVM passed 29 functional checks, backup/restore and cold-boot persistence under QEMU software emulation; native KVM/libvirt qualification is pending. Hyper-V passed native Generation 2 boot, Secure Boot and HTTPS dashboard availability on Windows 11 Pro; native API/login, trial, backup/restore and cold-boot tests remain pending. KVM and Hyper-V are published as previews. HA and third-party integrations require separate validation. External collectors and notification providers need customer configuration.
